Markets closed lower again yesterday, making the S&P 500 lowest it has been in a month and down 20% year to date.
Futures are flat, leaning downward. Bitcoin (BTC) is slightly below 17k.
Housing starts numbers will be released today, but have been going lower every month this year. This means fewer people are buying houses, including first houses.
Stocks to Watch
JP Morgan cut its price target on Apple (AAPL) from $200 to $190, but remains overweight and buy rating.
General Mills (GIS) reported better-than-expected profit and revenue and raised the full-year forecast.
Amazon (AMZN) is down almost 50% this year. When will the pain be over? Will the holiday season help or hurt? Is it time to start buying?
